How to calculate GCU aggregate: worked example
Here’s how the BS programmes formula works for a student with 1020/1100 in Matric, 980/1100 in Inter and 70/100 in GCU entry test:
- Academics = (1020 + 980) ÷ (1100 + 1100) = 90.91% × 70% = 63.64
- GCU entry test: 70 ÷ 100 = 70% × 30% = 21
Aggregate = 84.64%
