Terms & Conditions
Effective date: October 21, 2026
In short: Merit Calculator is a free tool that gives estimates. It doesn’t guarantee admission, isn’t connected to any university, and you should always confirm merit formulas on official admission pages.
By using the Merit Calculator website, web app or Android app (“the app”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
1. What the app does
The app calculates an estimated merit aggregate from the marks you enter, using formulas based on publicly available admission information. It’s provided free of charge for personal and educational use.
2. Estimates only, no guarantee of admission
- Results are estimates for planning purposes. They aren’t official merit lists and don’t guarantee admission to any programme.
- Universities can change their formulas, eligibility rules, quotas, bonus marks or deductions at any time, and some programmes use their own rules.
- Formulas marked “Estimate” are not published by the university and are based on common patterns.
- You are responsible for confirming all formulas, deadlines and requirements on the university’s official admission page before applying or making decisions.
3. No affiliation
The app is an independent project. It isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any university, college, testing body (such as UET, NTS, ETEA or NUST) or the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council. All university and institution names belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify them.
4. Using the app
You agree not to misuse the app, including by attempting to disrupt the website, copying and redistributing the app as your own, or presenting its results as official university results.
5. The Android APK
The Android app is distributed as an APK file outside the Google Play Store. Download it only from the official link on meritkitni.pages.dev. We aren’t responsible for modified copies downloaded from other sources. You install the APK at your own discretion.
6. Intellectual property
The app’s design, code, text and branding are owned by its creator, Saad Ahmad. Publicly available admission information belongs to the respective universities.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the app available and up to date, but we may change, pause or discontinue any part of it at any time without notice.
8. Limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the creator isn’t liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app or reliance on its results, including missed admissions, deadlines or opportunities.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
