How to calculate PIEAS aggregate: worked example
Here’s how the Engineering & sciences formula works for a student with 1020/1100 in Matric, 980/1100 in Inter and 70/100 in PIEAS test percentile:
- Matric: 1020 ÷ 1100 = 92.73% × 15% = 13.91
- Inter: 980 ÷ 1100 = 89.09% × 25% = 22.27
- PIEAS test percentile: 70 ÷ 100 = 70% × 60% = 42
Aggregate = 78.18%
